| International EyeCare Laser Center Presents Lasik Forum in Houston ...
"There are three reasons why people won't have lasik done: fear, fear and fear," says Dr. Moore. "We are trying to remove that element through better understanding of the procedure." Following a short video, the doctors will take questions from the guests. They will then take the audience on a tour of the facilities including the lasik suite, where surgery is performed. The guests will also have the opportunity to meet the rest of the staff and gain more information on the overall procedure. A pioneer of lasik (laser in-situ keratomileusis) in the United States, International EyeCare Laser Center is the only private practice in Houston exclusively dedicated to laser vision correction. Dr. Moore is a frequent speaker and published author on the topic of lasik and has performed thousands of refractive procedures since 1979.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Gary Coleman Paid? Foxy Free? Budden Calls Jay-Z ...
The only doctor that has been able to help Foxy and her ear situation is located in California. As expected the DA was hating, saying that there should be no sentence reduction even of Fox was dying. The judge will rule later in the month. BROOKE HOGAN LEAVES SCOTT STORCH? I don't know what kind of contract Brooke Hogan had with Scott Storch. I would assume the Hulkster can get her out off any contract –even Scott Storch. Well, Brooke has a myspace page that has her record label status as, “Trying to find a good one!" She signed to Scott Storch's Storchavelli Records in 2006 and hasn't done a lot musically. Maybe this is the start of something new in '08. (She actually released a CD in 2006 called Undiscovered.
Hey Time Warner: Left hand, meet right hand
So just days after the news broke that Time Warner was getting ready to test a pay-for-pipe rate plan for Road Runner customers, HBO announced that it would start making some of its shows available to subscribers via the Web for free. (Henry Blodgett, for one, is convinced the new service will fail.) So let's just make sure we've got this right… HBO subscribers will be able to download HBO programs for free, and those same downloads could end up meaning far higher monthly bills for Road Runner subscribers? While I would like to think this is sheer brilliance on the part of a major media conglomerate, I suspect that it's far more likely that nobody internally actually connected the dots on this one. Come on, if they were this smart enough do this, wouldn't they developed a plan to make AOL relevant again by now? posted by Josh Taylor January 22, 2008 @ 1:25 pm Previous Post: Is your broadband bill about to go up? Maine firm gets nod for Clearwater wastewater improvements
Clearwater has committed $1.8 million in a contract for a grit-removal system. Hydro International, a Portland, Me.-based provider of sustainable products and services that control and treat stormwater, wastewater and combined sewer overflows, won the city's business. Hydro will supply five Grit King advanced hydrodynamic separator units to upgrade the grit-removal processes at two of Clearwater's three wastewater treatment plants. The 12-foot diameter Grit King units will replace the existing grit removal systems at the plants. The purchase came as part of a larger initiative to upgrade the headworks at Clearwater's Marshall Street and East Advanced Pollution Control Facilities, a release said. A system was designed that could be retrofitted into the city's existing headworks, said Thomas Friedrich at Jones Edmunds & Associates in Tampa, in a statement.
